Weekly Photo Challenge: Yellow, Or: Protea Pincushion

Protea Pincushion

This week’s challenge calls for something yellow, and I remembered a set of flowers decorating the lobby of Big Island Bees in Captain Cook, Hawaii. Unlike the King Protea, Protea Pincushions (officially known as Leucospermum) are smaller and have more pronounced spines.
