Do not adjust your set; that really is a wave suspended in a kind of glass! One of the exhibits at the Exploratorium, the Confused Sea shows how the wind affects the motion of the ocean. You can change the speed and direction of air, thus creating some choppy water!

I’m really sorry to hear that, though I suppose America’s reputation has grown worse in the last few years. I know I’m biased because I live in California, but I’ve traveled internationally plenty as well. If you ever reconsider (even just once), please visit Hawaii. It’s a place everyone deserves to see. I’m not saying that as an American, but as a traveler, nature lover, and science geek.
Well, Hawaii could tempt me. The question is how much traditional Hawaiian culture is left, how much is for tourists only. The nature sure is beautiful (given what I saw already).
I’m a bit biased, but not that much, and I think that coming to Poland is worth it. 🙂
