Just a quiet moment at Aquatic Park, San Francisco. You can just make out the Golden Gate in the distance…
Originally built in 1886, the Balclutha is now a National Historic Landmark at Aquatic Park, San Francisco. In the left of the picture, you can see the Transamerica Pyramid in the distance. Hidden on the other side of the ship is a perfect view of Ghirardelli Square.
Took this while waiting in line for my first – and only – cable car ride. Ghirardelli Square is just out of frame on the left, and the Golden Gate Bride looms in the distance. Aquatic Park may not be a popular attraction as Pier 39, but it’s much more serene.
