Weekly Photo Challenge: Vivid, Or: Vallarta Sunset

Vallarta Sunset

This week’s challenge calls for something vivid. Here’s one of a few amazing sunsets I saw during my trip in Nuevo Vallarta. Large version available here.

Weekly Photo Challenge: Divisadero At Dusk

Divisadero At Dusk

This week’s challenge is all about stuff being enveloped, and I remembered a particularly spectacular February evening in San Francisco. This was taken at the very end of Divisadero Street, by the marina. Not only was the sunset amazing, but the clouds coming in seemed to swallow the city whole. Large version available here.

Weekly Photo Challenge: A World Of Orange

This week’s challenge requires lots of orange-themed photos, so I thought I’d look back at some of my travels over the past year…

Weekly Photo Challenge: The Golden Gate At The End Of February

The Golden Gate At The End Of February

This week’s photo challenge is all about reward. For me, nothing is more rewarding than taking a journey and finding something amazing at the end. Yesterday, I walked about 11 miles all around San Francisco starting at Market Street and finishing at Crissy Field. While I didn’t know where I’d end up, I enjoyed the sunset near the Golden Gate Bridge.

Because after spending all day on a road trip, there’s only one place to get a fresh marlin burger.

Weekly Photo Challenge: Warmth, Or: Sunset In Kona, Hawaii

Sunset In Kona, Hawaii

This week’s challenge calls for something warm (definitely needed here right now!), and I immediately thought of this awesome sunset I saw during the Royal Kona Luau on the Big Island.

Weekly Photo Challenge: Twinkle, Or: Kona Sunset Splash

Kona Sunset Splash

This week’s photo challenge calls for something twinkly, and the sunset I saw at the Royal Kona Luau instantly came to mind. I’ve got quite a few photos of this particular evening – you’ll see soon enough – but this one caught a wave at just the right moment.
